01Crowns

Crowns in Vietnam, per tooth.

How much is a dental crown in Vietnam?

Published 2026 Vietnam guides put crowns at US$150 to US$500 per tooth [SAMPLE]. We mark it rather than assert it, because it is not yet a range we have verified against our own clinics' price lists. Crowns are usually one visit. The material and the tooth being treated move the price more than anything else.

02What moves the price

Material, tooth, and what is underneath it.

A crown covers a tooth that has been prepared for it. What it is made of, which tooth it sits on, and whether the tooth underneath needs work first are the three things that change the number. That is true in Sydney and it is true in Ho Chi Minh City.

Usually inside the quote

  • The crown, with its material named
  • Preparation of the tooth
  • A temporary crown while the lab works
  • Fit and adjustment appointments
  • The written warranty terms

Usually quoted separately

  • Root canal treatment, if the tooth needs it
  • A post and core
  • Extraction, if the tooth cannot be saved
  • Imaging done on arrival
  • Any work on neighbouring teeth

Whether your tooth needs any of the right hand column is a clinical judgement for your dentist on your scan, not something we decide or predict.

A crown on an implant

If the crown sits on an implant, it belongs to the implant timeline: two trips, 3 to 6 months apart. See implants.

Quoted per tooth, then as a plan. Ask which teeth are in the plan and what happens to the ones that are not.

The ones that come up most.

How much does a dental crown cost in Vietnam?

Published 2026 Vietnam guides put crowns at US$150 to US$500 per tooth. We mark that SAMPLE because it is not yet a range we have verified against our own clinics' price lists. Your written quote comes from your matched clinic at the clinic's own price, and Dental Link adds nothing to it.

Why does the range go from $150 to $500?

Because a crown is not one product. The material, the tooth it sits on and the work the tooth needs first all move the number, in every market. That is why we ask clinics for an itemised written plan instead of a headline price, and why we send you two of them to compare.

Is a crown one trip or two?

Crowns are usually one visit, with lab days in the middle. A crown that sits on a new implant follows the implant timeline instead, which is two trips 3 to 6 months apart. Your quote states the appointments and their spacing before you book a flight.

What if the crown fails after I get home?

Warranty terms differ from clinic to clinic. We negotiate them on your behalf and write them into your quote before you agree to anything, so you compare warranties the same way you compare prices. If remedial work is needed it is handled under that written warranty, with your travel back covered, and your advisor manages it with the clinic. Follow your clinic's instructions once you are home.

Can I get a crown on the same trip as other work?

Often, but it is a clinical judgement made by your dentist on your case and written into the plan. When we present your case we put the whole list in front of the clinics, so the quotes that come back cover everything you asked about.
