Vietnam, Thailand, home, or on your own.
On price, published 2026 comparisons put Vietnam roughly 20 to 40 percent below Thailand for the same implant brands, with the gap widest on full arch work. Against a quote at home the difference is larger again. What actually decides it is not the country: it is whether someone has stood in the clinic, read the quote, and will be there when you land.
Both have excellent clinics. Both have bad ones.
Thailand is the default answer for Australians who have looked at this before, and it is a reasonable one. On price, published 2026 comparisons put Vietnam roughly 20 to 40 percent below Thailand for the same implant brands, with the gap widest on full arch work.
This is an index, not a price. We do not publish Thai clinic prices because we have not sourced a set we trust. [SAMPLE]
| The thing you are actually choosing | Thailand | Vietnam, through Dental Link |
|---|---|---|
| Price for the same implant brand | Higher, on published 2026 comparisons | 20 to 40 percent below, gap widest on full arch |
| Who checked the clinic | [SAMPLE] Depends entirely on who you booked through | An advisor who lives in the city, in person, during working hours, against 21 published checks |
| Who reads your quote | You, usually by email | Us, on your behalf, comparing inclusions, materials and warranty across two clinics |
| Who meets you | Varies | Your advisor, at arrivals, and again in the chair at appointment one |
| What happens if it fails | The clinic's standard warranty, if any, and your own flights | A warranty we negotiated, written into your quote, with your travel back covered for remedial work |
We are not going to tell you Thailand is unsafe. It is a large market with good clinics in it. Our argument is narrower: whoever you go with, in whichever country, the question is who has stood in the room.
The published ranges, side by side.
| Market | All-on-4, per arch | Single implant | Quoted in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Australia | A$20,000 to A$40,000 | A$3,000 to A$7,000 | AUD |
| United States | $20,000 to $35,000 | $3,000 to $6,000 | USD |
| Vietnam, verified clinic | $3,900 to $7,200 | from $950 | USD |
| New Zealand, United Kingdom | [SAMPLE] | [SAMPLE] | NZD, GBP |
Australian figures are in Australian dollars and Vietnam figures are in US dollars. They are not converted here. The calculator converts at an indicative rate and marks it.
It is not a discount on the same clinic. It is a different cost base: wages, rent and locally made laboratory work. Materials are bought globally, which is why the brand in your quote can be the same brand you would get at home.
Flights, hotel and visa are yours and are paid to the provider, never to us. For implants there are two trips, 3 to 6 months apart, so price two sets of flights, not one.
A medical result. Nobody honest can. What we guarantee is the process: the pickup, the advisor in the room, the check-ins, the written quotes, and a named person who answers.
You can do all of this yourself. Here is what that looks like.
Plenty of people book a clinic directly and it goes fine. These are the things that go wrong when it does not, in the words of people it happened to.
| The moment | On your own | With Dental Link |
|---|---|---|
| Finding a clinic | "A quick google has caused a blitzkrieg of dental tourism." Forty tabs, no way to tell the good ones from the well marketed ones. | Two clinics matched to your case from a network of 100+ verified clinics, compared for you, with walk through videos. You choose. |
| The price | "For you special price." Quotes that grow after you land, extras added mid treatment, a cheaper implant brand swapped in without telling you. | Same price as booking direct, in writing, before you fly. The brand, the lab and the warranty named in the quote. |
| Paying | A deposit to a clinic in another country, before you have met anyone. | No deposits, ever. You pay the clinic, in person, for work you have agreed to. |
| Language | "Any clinic that is worth your time will have English speakers." Some do. The nurse explaining your aftercare may not. | Your advisor translates the plan, the materials and the warranty in the room, then stays on WhatsApp. |
| Being upsold | "Clinics that upsell aggressively in the chair. Clinics that quote low and add extras mid treatment." | The written plan is the plan, and your advisor is in the chair beside you. A clinic that adds treatment you did not come for is removed. |
| Something goes wrong at home | "Flying back to Vietnam at your own cost if something needs fixing." A warranty you cannot read, and nobody to call. | A warranty we negotiated for you, written into your quote, with your travel covered if remedial work is ever needed, and a named advisor with the clinic's direct line. |
The quotes in the middle column are from public forum and review threads written by patients researching dental work overseas. We do not name clinics, good or bad, on this site.
The country question, answered honestly.
Which is better for dental implants, Thailand or Vietnam?
Both have excellent clinics and both have bad ones. On price, published 2026 comparisons put Vietnam roughly 20 to 40 percent below Thailand for the same implant brands, with the gap widest on full arch work. What actually decides it is not the country, it is whether someone has stood in the clinic, read the quote and will be there when you land. That is what we do, in Vietnam.
What is the cheapest country for dental implants?
We are not going to answer a global cheapest question, because the honest answer changes by treatment, by clinic and by month, and because the cheapest number in a category like this is usually the one with the most missing from underneath it. What we publish is what we can stand behind: Vietnam through a verified clinic, All-on-4 US$3,900 to US$7,200 per arch and single implants from US$950, at the clinic's own price.
Why would I use you instead of contacting a clinic myself?
Because it costs you nothing and it changes four things: which clinics you see, what the quote has to contain, who is in the room at appointment one, and what happens if something needs fixing after you fly home. If you would rather go direct, the vetting checklist on this site is the same one we use, and you are welcome to run it yourself.
Do you get paid more if I pick a particular clinic?
No. Our commission is the same whichever clinic you choose, and it is paid by the clinic, never added to your quote. No clinic can pay to be listed, to be placed higher, or to be shown to more patients. Because we are paid only on completed treatment, a patient pushed into the wrong clinic is a loss for us, not a win.
What would make you tell me not to come?
If Vietnam is not the right answer for you, we say so on the call. If you decide not to go, you owe nothing and you will not hear from us again.
Stop comparing countries. Compare two written quotes.
Ten minutes on the phone, then two vetted clinics matched to your case within 24 hours, with the implant brand, the lab and the warranty spelled out in both. You compare, you choose, and we are paid the same either way.
