01Verification, published in full

How a clinic gets on our list. All 21 checks.

Why this page exists

Other sites say "verified" and leave it there. This is what the word means at Dental Link: what we ask for, what we look at ourselves, and what we keep checking after a clinic is listed. A clinic that will not show us something on this page does not get a second conversation.

02The checklist

Twenty one checks, in five groups.

Every clinic we send patients to is registered and licensed with the Vietnamese Department of Health, and we audit them ourselves. If a clinic fails a check, it does not appear anywhere on this site.

ALicence and legal standing
Operating licence from the Vietnamese Department of HealthCurrent, matching the trading name and the address we visit. Copy on file. Re-checked every year.
Document
Practising registration for every dentist who would treat our patientsNot just the lead dentist. If a second dentist places the implant, their registration is on file too.
Document
Business registration and ownershipWe know who owns the clinic and who is accountable if something goes wrong.
Document
Complaint and sanction historyAny regulatory complaint, sanction or licence interruption on record, and how it was resolved.
Records
BThe visit, in person
An advisor who lives in the city walks the clinicDuring working hours, seeing patients being treated. Not a scheduled showroom tour and not a video call.
On site
Sterilisation and infection controlAutoclave and sterilisation records, single use items where single use is expected, and instrument tracking we can follow from tray to patient.
On site and records
Imaging and equipmentOn site 3D imaging (CBCT) and digital scanning, maintained and in use, not in a brochure.
On site
The laboratory, seenA named lab for crowns, bridges and arches. We ask to see it or its certification, not just hear about it.
On site and document
Emergency readinessWhat happens if a patient has a medical event in the chair: equipment, protocol, and the nearest hospital relationship.
On site
CThe dentist, not just the clinic
Training and specialityWhere they trained, how many years in the speciality, and any postgraduate implant or prosthodontic qualification.
Document
Case history for the procedure you are asking aboutA good clinic with the wrong dentist for your case is still the wrong match. We ask for case volume and examples for All-on-4, single implants, veneers and full mouth work separately.
Records
English in the roomThe treating dentist or a clinical translator can explain a plan, a material choice and an aftercare instruction in plain English.
On site
DMaterials, pricing and warranty
Named implant and material brands, with proof of supplyThe brand in the quote is the brand that goes in. We ask for the supply chain, not just the logo on the wall.
Document
A written price list, and a written plan before treatmentEvery patient gets an itemised plan and price before anything starts. No price is agreed in the chair.
Document
Warranty terms in writingYears, what is covered, what is excluded, and how a claim is made. We negotiate these on our patients' behalf and they go into the quote.
Document
Same price as booking direct, confirmedOur commission is paid by the clinic and never added to the patient's quote. We check quotes against the clinic's own list price.
Records
ERecords and outcomes
Treatment records and outcome dataThe clinic shares its treatment records and outcomes with us, so we see complication and remake rates rather than take a brochure's word.
Records
Written aftercare protocolAftercare instructions in writing, in English, so patients can follow their clinic's instructions once they are home.
Document
Every patient we place is followed upWe ask how it went, in detail. Patient feedback feeds the clinic's standing, and anything that does not add up triggers a re-audit.
Ongoing
Adversarial reviewWe check what the clinic tells us against what patients tell us, what the records show, and what we saw on the visit. Verification is not a certificate a clinic earns once.
Ongoing
Annual re-checkLicences, registrations and sterilisation records are re-checked every year, and any clinic with a change of ownership or lead dentist is re-audited in full.

03The removal list

What takes a clinic off the list.

A price that changes after the patient has landed.
Selling treatment the patient did not come for.
Aftercare that goes quiet once the patient flies home.
Any lapse in the sterilisation and infection control standards in section B.
A brand or material in the mouth that does not match the one in the quote.

If a clinic handles a problem badly, that is exactly what takes it off our list.

04Anonymity, and why

Clinics stay anonymous until you have a quote in hand.

Until then you see them as Verified Clinic · District 1 · All-on-4 specialist. It keeps the comparison about the plan and the price rather than the marketing budget. When your quotes arrive you get the names, the dentists, the walk through videos, and the freedom to say no.

No clinic can buy a place

No clinic can pay to be listed, to be placed higher, or to be shown to more patients. Our fee is paid on completed treatment only, and it is the same whichever clinic a patient chooses.

05Vetting questions

What people ask about the audit.

Is it safe to get dental work in Vietnam?

Safety is why this page exists and why it is published rather than summarised. Every clinic we send patients to is registered and licensed with the Vietnamese Department of Health, has been visited in person during working hours, and has a named laboratory we have seen. Clinics are removed if standards slip. What we will not do is make a clinical claim. We are not dentists and we do not give treatment advice. You meet your dentist, see the clinic and get a written plan before you agree to anything, and once treatment starts you follow your clinic's instructions.

Who does the visit?

An advisor who lives in the city, during working hours, with patients being treated. Not a scheduled showroom tour and not a video call. The same person is likely to be the one who meets you at arrivals and sits beside you at appointment one.

How often is a clinic re-checked?

Licences, registrations and sterilisation records are re-checked every year. Any clinic with a change of ownership or lead dentist is re-audited in full. On top of that, every patient we place is followed up in detail, and anything in that feedback that does not add up triggers a re-audit whenever it happens.

Can a clinic pay to be on the list?

No. No clinic can pay to be listed, to be placed higher, or to be shown to more patients. Our fee is paid on completed treatment only and it is the same whichever clinic a patient chooses, which is why a patient pushed into the wrong clinic is a loss for us, not a win.

Will you tell me the clinic's real name?

At the quote stage, yes: the name, the dentist profiles and a walk through video of each of the two clinics matched to your case. Before then clinics are anonymous by design, so the comparison stays on the plan and the price.
